Casey Cott and Riverdale

During an exclusive session of the Us Weekly’s Costar Secrets, Cott, who plays Kevin Keller on the CW series, claimed that Reinhart, who portrays Betty Cooper, is his go-to girl for goofing off.

“Lili is the only person who can get me to things nobody else can make me do,” the 29-year-old star said, adding that Lili Reinhart is amazingly comical. “She could say like, ‘Hey, let’s dance to this Britney Spears video right now, and I’m like, ‘Oh, I’m in;”

“However, if somebody else asked me, I’d think it’s weird,” he continued. “It simply works with Lili for some reason, and we have a terrific time.”

Who’s The Snack King?

The star mentioned KJ Apa as another jokester on set, quipping that it’s KJ’s love for food that distinguishes him.  “KJ is the king of snacks. The shrewd kings. The crafty kings are KJ and Charles Melton,” Cott stated. “There are also two of the funniest people I’ve ever met.”

The star made it crystal clear that there is “no hoarding during production.” Apa, who plays Archie Andrews, as well as Melton, who portrays Reggie Mantle, “both bring and consume all the food.”

Cott went on to say that the New Zealander, had some wild concoctions going on.

Anyone Else?

Cole Sprouse, Jughead Jones, and his sense of humor were also mentioned by the Acting for It actor. “He has a great sense of humor.” He told Us Weekly, “I think there’s certainly a nice joke vibe going on backstage. If you’re having a bad day, he’ll undoubtedly make you laugh.”

A Shallow Dive Into Casey Cott’s Acting Career

Cott started his acting career in a local Ohio theater. He appeared in shows including Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson and Romeo and Juliet, amongst others.

Cott was cast as Kevin Keller in the CW television drama Riverdale, a TV adaptation of the Archie Comics universe, on March 12, 2016, during his senior year at CMU. The character Kevin is remarkable because he is the first openly gay character in Archie Comics history.

Before Kevin, Cott auditioned for Archie Andrews and Jughead Jones, according to a Facebook video he released in March 2017. For the second season, he was upgraded to a series regular.
